My primary business expenses, $65K/yr vs my online business-NONE!

I believe nothing we experience is an accident, that everything is a lesson serving the growth of our body, mind and spirit.

Yet, I’m feeling regret that my business of 20 years, Cold Sores Begone Stick™ and Canker Sores Begone Stick™, with all its ups and downs, has been extremely expensive to run for this solo entrepreneur – this past year, an out-of-pocket $65,000. I don’t think I can put a price on what it’s cost me in stress and even fear when I’ve been thrown curves I wasn’t sure I could overcome.

I want a greater sense of financial security now that I’m an older boomer living in the new economy so I’m operating an additional business, one that’s online requiring 1-2 hours a day. It’s bringing in a residual income that will increase during the next 6-12 months that will far exceed what my primary business has ever provided.  The operational expense?  Zero.  There’s an $11.50 monthly membership fee that was almost immediately covered within the first month with my first referral provided by the team I’m on.  I’m just copying and pasting a ready-made ad that contains my personal affiliate link on niche Facebook groups throughout the day. People who resonate with the benefits offered sign up under me, and that’s all there is to it.

Here’s a 10 minute video that explains the compensation plan and a little about what the business is about.

If this is something you’d like to explore more or start now, take a look at the All In One Profits website.  DON’T join directly on that website, however, you won’t receive perks and support that you’d receive joining through our team.  Instead, just start with going to our team Facebook group and click on JOIN.  You’ll probably be approved within a few minutes. Then you can post that you want more info or  you want to start immediately.   http://www.allinoneprofits.com/8v3

The online business is growing fairly quickly and I find myself tempted to sell my stressful primary business and just run this online business that only requires a part-time effort.  I’m not quite ready to do that yet, but I see that if I choose to keep it, it will because I WANT to, not because I HAVE to.

I’m not trying to hustle you to say I recommend this particular online business I’m in. There’s a plethora of them out there. This one is a trusted, long-standing, and stable system.

Either I or another team member will provide all the help and support you need getting started and throughout.

If this isn’t for you, please find another source of income that is if you want some level of financial security. We’re in a different world now, it’s necessary.

A website that helps women create new friendships locally

Girlfriends dining outI remember feeling so alone and lonely when I moved to another city where I had no friends.  I would be eating in a restaurant, alone, and watch girlfriends at another table, talking, laughing, enjoying the familiarity. I would look longingly at them, remembering when I had that, when I’d always had friends, many of them.  I was self-employed and working from home, making it a challenge to meet people.

I eventually  joined an organization that met every week, which lead to the close, long time friends I now have today.  I’ll never take that for granted again.

I only wish that GirlfriendCircles.com had been available when I most needed them. It’s an online community where you can find local women also seeking new friends either due to a move, an empty nester, new grads making friends outside of school, or someone who’s newly retired.

GirlfriendCircles.com can provide online tools to help you create meaningful friendships with the qualities you hope to have in common.

Shasta Nelson is the brainchild behind GirlfriendCircles.com and has been interviewed on numerous TV shows and in newspapers.  Tommorrow, Tuesday, March 12, 2013, 3:00 pm on ABC. she’ll be a guest of Katie Couric’s show.   Shasta shares some behind-the-scenes about her interview with Katie.

Fortune Hi-Tech reps-you were meant to be here instead

As a network marketer myself, my heart goes out to you.  But I bring good news.

I belong to a global shopping network who’s founder has dotted every ‘i’ and crossed every ‘T’ to ensure it will be here for the long term.  No autoships, no joining or website fees.

I’m simply re-directing my everyday expenses, such as groceries, gas, clothing, travel, home maintenance supplies, pet care and more to retailers partnered with the network. And it doesn’t cost me more to do that, it saves me money.

There’s nothing like this out there that can and is helping consumers and businesses.  I get particular satisfaction as I see small and medium size businesses grow in their communities due to their partnership in the network.

This network offers 10 ways to earn money.  The following is but one of them.

Email me at financialworriesbegone@gmail.com for more information. I can, and want, to help you achieve what we all want, financial security.

Finally! Costco now selling womens’ plus size clothing

I found it in the most recent edition of the February 2013 Costco Connection, a cotton cardigan and Gloria Vanderbilt jeans.  They’re only available in warehouse, not on website.  Tidbit – did you know that Gloria Vanderbilt is Anderson Cooper’s mom?

3 Facebook pages you’ll want to ‘like’ to keep in the know

Staci Tooke is a virtual assistant specializing in integrated internet content management support, social media, and blog management.  Given Facebook’s recent site update,  she provided this great tip for Facebook users:

“A key to know what is going on at FaceBook is make sure you have ‘liked’ these pages:

http://www.facebook.com/FacebookPages

http://www.facebook.com/influencers

http://www.facebook.com/facebook

Mashable.com is another valuable resource.

Since it’s my business, I make sure to stay on the same page with the news makers.”

I couldn’t offer customers discounts via Paypal. My solution—added E-Junkie

If you’ve read my blog for any time, you will have noticed that I share solutions and resources.  Before I started my blogs, I would email solutions and resources  on a regular basis.  I cannot NOT do it.  It’s how I’m wired.

So today, you’re getting the full benefit of a solution and a resource.

I have two retail websites, ColdSoresBegone.com and CankerSoresBegone.com and use Paypal to process credit card transactions.  It’s a real time-saver, but surprisingly, they don’t offer merchants such as myself the ability to offer customers a discount or promotion.

A fellow online retailer had the same problem and recommended what she did, register with E-Junkie.com. Among many of their services, they allow you to customize your cart, integrating it with Paypal, so discounts and promotions are easily managed just by logging into your E-Junkie account.  E-Junkie.com charges me $5/mo for this capability.

I’m not knowledgeable about making changes on my retail website or shopping cart, and I knew I’d need someone to either walk me thru the set up or do it for me.  E-Junkie has all kinds of help to offer but it’s only via chat.  I needed more. They recommended Andrew, who works closely with them as the Lead Project Engineer for his own company, EasyE-Junkie.com.

I hired Andrew and he gave me an estimate of how long the job would take.  He ran a little over that, but didn’t charge extra since that’s what he quoted.  The prices at EasyE-Junkie.com vary depending on the service and time required, but generally $50/hour.  Reasonable.

Have you ever had that rare occasion to work with someone who is such a pleasure — reliable, thorough, ethical, articulate, does all he can to save you money?

An E-Junkie.com staff member wrote this on Andrew’s website:

“We’ve got gurus, ninjas and support monsters at E-junkie helping our merchants, but when they are out of ideas, Andrew steps in. More than once I’ve seen him do things with our cart that I never thought were possible!”
Robin K. — E-Junkie

Apparently, he does everything from teaching people how to use, install, or configure the cart, to programming custom things to do with it.  More details about what he does can be found here:

http://easye-junkie.com/training.html

Andrew and his team also offer web design.  I love a clean look on a website, and that’s what he created for this website:  www.pediasleep.com.

For those of you interested, here are a few examples of solutions Andrew/his team have provided to their customers:

http://www.rightonthewalls.com/

On RightOnTheWalls, we did the top-most Facebook/Twitter/Email header, the drop-down menus, the floating buttons on the right hand side, and everything related to the top three floating buttons on the right (we did the “Bulleten Board” feature, the “Design Custom Text” flash programming – this one is really cool, and the “Custom Photo Gifts” feature programming).  Also, for any products that need to have a photo or design uploaded as part of the buying process, we programmed that.

http://onediscmore.com/index.php?option=com_php&Itemid=58

On OneDiscMore, we designed and programmed the order form to accept all the order information for a custom CD/DVD production order with easy to use buttons, and we programmed the price calculation “engine” that calculates just how much a custom order costs before passing all the details to the E-Junkie cart.

http://www.narcissismcured.com/Our_Products.html

For NarcissismCured, we programmed a number of custom features on their sales pages.  First of all, the site uses “IP address-based pricing” which means that if you are in the US, it automatically prices your products in US Dollars, if you are in Canada, it prices them in Canadian Dollars, if you are in the EU Zone, it prices in Euros, etc…  Also, if you click on any of the “add to cart buttons” (which we did custom for them as well), you will see in the cart overlay two “upsell buttons” at the bottom of the cart overlay.  Clicking either button will add the specified product to the cart overlay without the user needing to leave the cart.  We did those too. :-)  Also, whenever someone buys a CD from this site, we programmed it so the order gets sent directly to their fulfillment company, Kunaki.com.  So, their CD orders are completely automated.  Also, when someone buys a product that comes bundled with a subscription to their free eCourses on relationships and Narcissistic Personality Disorder, we programmed it so the customer is automatically added to their email list with iContact.

http://sleekk.squarespace.com/bmw-g650x-motorcycle-tail-rack/

On this site, we did just one thing.  If you scroll down to the “add to cart” button, you’ll see that there is a checkbox next to text that reads “I agree to the terms & conditions”… we programmed it so the use *has to* check the box before they can add the product to the cart and make a purchase.

German New Medicine-diseases are not mistakes of nature, but initiated by shock or trauma

The German New Medicine was discovered by Dr. R.G. Hamer in 1981. Since then, he has empirically established Five Biological Laws by which all diseases behave.  His research involves over 40,000 cases and proves that illness is initiated by a biological conflict – shock or trauma. He also discovered that each biological conflict leaves a visible mark in the brain (confirmed by brain CT) in the exact brain relay corresponding to the organ, or body structure affected by disease. More compellingly, he found that the nature of the conflict predetermines the organic site for disease.

About cancer, Dr. Hamer strongly believes that present methods of dealing with cancer are barbarous, cruel and completely unnecessary.

With a skeptical but open mind, go to the German New Medicine website (in English).  They’re offering a webinar, the topic “Common Ailments”, with live Q & A after the presentation on Sunday, August 15, 2010, 2pm-3pm EST.  The cost is $24.95.  Go here to register.

You can also purchase for $24.95,  the “Introduction to New German Medicine” DVD, a recording of a live presentation given by Ilsedora Laker on February 14th 2010.  Click here.

Just a side note -when I read what Dr. Hamer, and other courageous souls have gone through bringing results of research that conflicts with mainstream medicine, I’m reminded of the quote:

Great spirits always encounter violent opposition from mediocre minds.”
~ Albert Einstein
