I’ve watched it over and over! Gives me goosebumps.
In the early part of the 20th century French-Jewish capitalist Albert Kahn set about to collect a photographic record of the world, the images held in an ‘Archive of the Planet’. Before the 1929 stock market crash he was able to amass a collection of more than 72,000 autochrome plates, the first industrial process for true colour photography. Click HERE to view. Absolutely fascinating, making that period of time real, unlike the black/white photos we’re used to seeing from that era.
So glad a friend sent me the link to a blog called Let’s Be Friends. Some pictures are very touching, others are down right laugh-out-loud’s.
First there was Susan Boyle, and now……….
I love to laugh, that’s why you’ll find a lot of it on this blog. Look for more funny stuff under the category (on sidebar) “For Your Enjoyment” Enjoy this short video.
I didn’t think I would laugh but it snuck up on me.
